Photos from GUNS.RU forum posted by forum member “shtil” of fired 10.67x58mmR Russian cartridge cases. Some of the cases are missing the primer and one can see the 3 flash holes spaced 120 deg. apart in one photo.

The use of 3 flash holes was typical of UMC production in the 1870s and later for military caliber black powder rifle cartridges and was followed by other manufacturers following UMC practice. Jack
