12mm French thick rim

I recently purchased a round box of 25 12mm French thick rim cartridges. The label states 'CARTOUCHES POUR REVOLVERS, SYSTEME PERRIN Bte’
Does anyone know if this box was made by Perrin, or was it made by another company for use in Perrin revolvers, or perhaps for use in Lefeaucheax style revolvers that were converted to centerfire using the ‘Perrin system’ of conversion. These thick rim cartridges have always been a bit of a mystery to me, and the box just adds to that mystery. Thanks for any help that can be provided.

these ctges were not made by Perrin, but for a Perrin revolver.
They were not made by Gevelot.
I They were made by Gaupillat I think (90 % sure)
