19.2 mm shotshell

#1

This is an old shotshell, German or Austrian or CZ origin I think.

The hstp is very bad, the only thing I can read is : 19.2

(And in fact it is the head diameter)

Has somebody such a round in his collection ?
And do you know what is it ?
Thanks

looks to be a Von Dreyse needlefire. Mine has a very faint DREYSE HS & 0,71 caliber.
Black composite primer?

Hi Pete !!

  1. You are right, the hstp is DREYSE & Co 19.2
  2. The primer is black painted
  3. This case looks like a center fire.
Are you sure it is a pin fire ?
  4. I thought the Dreyse shotshells were hstped : 0.64, 0.70, 0.74 and not with metric units ??

(Did you finish your catalogue ?)

NEEDLE FIRE

Hi Pete !
Needle (and not Pin) Fire, I was working on many documpents at the same time, excuse me.

The questions remain :
I thought the Dreyse shotshells were ONLY hstped : 0.64, 0.70, 0.74 and not with metric units ??
Apparently it is not true.
