1934 DWM pistol cartridge leaflet

#1

Thought I would share this one.

A 1934 DWM Cartridge leaflet which shows a nice illustration of an oil tight DWM cartridge with the non-serif DWM head stamp and the K for Karlsruhe.

In 1934 the company was still using the name ‘Berlin Karlsruhe Industriewerke’, but the DWM trademark had been retained.

Luckily for us these leaflets (and other brochures) are marked with the printing information, including the edition and the date (in this case a 2nd printing, on November of 1934).

The front:
‘No failures and irritation! with DWM-pistol-rounds’
‘Oil tight’
‘Rust- and Corrosion free’

The back:
Cartridges as they should be
rust preventing, corrosion free,
excellent accuracy, highest
effectiveness in target, not failing,
are the world famous
Oiltight DWM pistol cartridges

Can be obtained from your rifle maker, gun and ammunition dealer
Berlin-Karlsruher Industrie-Werke
Aktien-Gesellschaft
formerly Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken
Karlsruhe in Baden

Very interesting. I have a box very similar to that shown.
