Can anybody tell me what the color codes signify on this projectile marked GLN07B182-011? Thanks! Tom from Minnesota

Tom,

The red band and yellow body on the US M246 indicates HEIT-SD. (High Explosive Incendiary Tracer -Self Destruct).

Your item may be a different loading but others could help there.
