22 Long CF and .230 Centerfires

Looking through my junk and found these. I’m guessing the first one is a .22 Long Centerfire and the other five to be .230 CF Revolver, Correct?230%20CF%20x 230%20cf%20hs

Where the .22 Long CF and .230 CF interchangeable?

Paul

Very nice cartridges. No answers yet so I give my views.
After looking through W&M , EB and Fleming books I am in confusion.
To me they seem interchangeable but it would depend on the revolver chambers.
Possibly they were not stepped at the case length and you could use all lengths?
Rim diameters would not matter much and how close were tolerances?
I have an RWS 230 headstamped shot like yours in orange paper extension but have misplaced it as usual.
I show a scarce ELEY box of .22-3-30 cartridges for similar interest. Ron.
