.22BB Cap Acorn Headstamp

I have a .22BB Cap round with an Acorn Headstamp that is proud. Would that be a Dynamit Nobel Round? Is the proud hstp standard or not?

An acorn is one of the standard RWS/Dynamit nobel headstamps on rimfire ammunition.

I can’t understand the meaning of the word “proud” in your post…

Proud means protruding or projecting from a surface. Not flush.

I have only seen proud headstamps, but I don’t know if other variations exist

The usual term for “proud” on this forum is “raised”.The opposite is normally “impressed”.

I have a 6mm Flobert with pointed bullet and several different 9mm Flobert shots with inpressed “acorn”. My have a few others but don’t have my list with me now.
