.25 acp "LBC *M*"

I think “M” stands for a year but which one? I am sure this has been discussed before, but I suck in searches.

Great, I am also wrong on the date. But how old is it?

Without a box label having a date code, or some other paper work concerning this cartridge, I don’t know how one could arrive at a date of manufacture. Beaux was an old firm, founded c.1860 as the Società italiana munizioni at Milano (District of Bollate). Since it does not have the caliber in the headstamp, it was made sometime prior to 1952, when they began including that information on their headstamps. I can’t say anything beyond that - don’t know.
