I hane two 270 Winchester cartridges. One is headstamped K (at 270deg) 8 (at 90 deg) and 270 at the bottom the bullet is a non magnetic PSP GM jacket. the other one is identical except the K is an L. Does anyone Know who loaded these and approx what era? Thanks
They were made by Hirtenberger in Austria for Musgrave in South Africa. The headstamp was meant to circumvent the imbargo against the import of ammunition into South Africa in the 1980’s. The L 8 and K 8 are thought to be date codes.
