I have quite a few USC Co 18 or 19 dated rounds but none of them have a dot behind the year.
I don’t know the meaning of the dot.
It is not common but could probably range from rare experimental to bunter error
For what ever it’s worth, of my 4-5 none have the dot after the date.
A thought out of ingnorance of the subject…
Does the “dot” after the year appear to be the same size/depth as those between the letters, or would that even be a factor in ID of the headstamp?
Just wondering if it is original to the time of manufacture.
BadgerJack… its the same size and type, if you expand the photo to me it looks the same…paul.
