32 long rimfire

A freind of mine has this 32 long but the bullet is something that he can’t identify. Does anyone have any ideas. It is the cartridge on the right
Thank You Carolyn

It doesn’t look like your typical Winchester bullet, this and the fact it does not appear to have a bullet crimp could indicate it’s a handload. Way back when the manufactures would sell new primed empties and anyone could “roll their own” rimfires.

Carolyn, in my opinion the bullet looks like a typical Winchester bullet made with Stetson’s patent machinery but I’m not sure about the bullet crimp because is not easily distinguishable in the picture. This bullet/headstamp combination do exist in WRACo made .32 Long.
