.38-75 & .38-90 Remington

#1

While working on the UMC and Remington Catalog Project I found the following listing in a 1887 E.Remington Catalog.
Neither of these loads are in the 1887 U.M.C. catalog.

.38-75 REMINGTON (2 5/8 Straight) 306 gr.
WITH BOXER No. 2 COPPER PRIMER

.38-90 REMINGTON (2 5/8 Straight) 330 gr.
WITH BOXER No. 2 COPPER PRIMER

I don’t think I have ever seen either of these cases in 50 years of collecting. Has anyone else seen them? If you have, are the bullets paper-patch or naked? Are the round nose or flat nose lead?
