38 SPECIAL, NICKEL CASE , SPEER HEADSTAMP 38 SPECIAL , YELLOW SABOT , PLASTIC WITH A FALSE 6 CRIMP STAR CLOSURE,
DOES IT CONTAIN SHOT , AS THE SIMILAR ROUND WITH THE OPAQUE BLUE SABOT DOES.
Can not see into the sabot, and it will not rattle. also no primer annalus colour as with the other.

Yes, it is just a standard shot load. These yellow sabots preceeded the blue ones. I think they were the first color used about late 1960’s.

Ron, could you be a little precisely please, the problem is, yellow in not yellow.
I have also a kind of milky yellow sabot in my collection.
Perhaps are the characters from the head stamps a good date indication.

Dutch–the third one on the right is the earlist, I think. My yellow one is completely opaque and is bright yellow.
