I have a 40 x 364R Bofors case stamped: “992 83 002 0668302 40/70”, Primer says: “m/80 06683002” I know this is a fairly modern US case, but can anyone tell me more?
This 40mm/L70 case is possible made by “Aktiebolaget Bofors Nobelkrut”, Eskilstuna, Sweden. The M/80 percussion primer is a typical Swedish design.
Kindest regards, Rob
I didn’t think this was a Swedish case, I thought it looked very modern US, as it has a headstamp made of long lines of numbers.
This case was made by LAPUA (Finland) for Sweden.
Thanks, cleared that one up.
