I rechecked Roy Dunlap’s Ordnance Went Up Front, and he gives (based on a specimen weighed I’m pretty certain) the 7.9 m/m PzB as having a 222 gr. projectile and a charge of 223 gr. A real varmint cartridge! Jack

As far as I can tell it’s loaded, I gave it the thump with a finger nail test & it didn’t ring.

On my postage scale it goes a bit over 6 oz. So 6 oz = 170.09714 grams = 2625.0002 grains, so about 125 grains over the reported weight with this very rough weight calculation.

I’d consider that ball bark.
