6.35mm Browning Headstamps-By Who?

#1

I was going through an old box of stuff in the storeroom and found these two rounds. Even with John K’s magic magnifying glass with all the lights, I can’t make out the headstamps. I can’t decide is it is a poor bunter or maybe Arabic or something else. one appears to have an “S” and the other may have a date “51” but the other marks don’t make much sense. I have seen some Spanish rounds with terrible headstamps, but even when I squint, I can’t see parts of a PS or FNT or any other Spanish headstamp code.If it is really bad Spanish bunter, my guess would be “P S 61” but I have a hard time seeing “P S” on the one on the right.

The bullets have brass jackets and are nonmagnetic.

Help Appreciated! Maybe better eyes will make a difference.

Cheers,
Lew

, almost certainly it is Spanish and it puts S (Pirotecnia de Sevilla) 6.3 and the year, I send you an example I do not know if it will look good.

Great, Thanks! It looked Spanish but the headstamp didn’t make sense. Now seeing a complete headstamp, I understand the markings on the two I have.

Don’t bother sending me a case! You have already answered my question.

Cheers,
Lew
