Does anybody know what the actual diameter is? From the 6.35mm designation, I had always thought it had a .257" bullet. However, comparing the width of the sectioned bullet (in the “cartridge of the month” photo on cartridgecollectors.org) to the width of the rim, it looks like it is a .264" projectile. Confirm? Refute?
All of the 6.35mm bullets measure .256" +/-.

BTW - Not all of the bullets are illustrated on the sectioned samples. Also, the descriptions do not give the FAT numbers of the 5 basic cartridges.
