Is the “-” at the end of the .600 just an incidental mark or does it mean something. Under a 16x magnifing glass it appears to be part of the bunter, but is rougher than the rest of the headstamp. This is a RN CN SP loading if that makes a difference.
I think its just a ‘ding’ otherwise I think it would line up somehow with hst - it just looks random. Have never seen anything similar. Regards JohnP-C
That it is just a ding is my opinion also, but since it lined up with the level of the “.” at the front of the 600, I thought I would ask. I have seen a lot of .600 Nitro’s over the years and have never seen a “dash” before either.
