7.62 X 51 NATO headstamp Identification

#1

I purchased a M1A Scout Squad and also bought 2 bandoleers of ammo.
The headstamp has the cross with RG 94 but no caliber markings. My interpretation is NATO Radway Green made in 1994. Is there any concerns with this round?

Your identification sounds correct. There usually is no caliber marking on military NATO-marked ammunition, so that is quite normal. I would foresee no problem with the ammunition, but of course no guarantee of that. It is always the shooter’s choice whether to use ammunition or not. With that date I can say with confidence it is non-corrosive, and Radway Green ammunition is normally of good quality.
