One friend gave me this 7,62x39 cartridge.
Can you help me with the denomination of this cartridge?
Another friend said me he thinks is an Czech or Slovakian XPL cartridge.
The aluminium piece seems like a Sabot.

Yes, Looks like an aluminum sabot ? But I am not a military expect. Lapua brass is available world wide, where legal.

I have/had one for 8 or 10 years. They were experimental items produced by a Lab in the Czech Republic that did a lot of work for the government. The source I got mine from was very credible. I think it is completely legit.
