7.65x53 F.M.M.A.P. question

My question is about the one on the right from 1946. It has a pronounced circular crimp around the primer. I usually see no crimp, like two on the left. Why is there a crimp, Air Force use?

I think it is just an anomaly. I have noticed this before as I have shot up and sold hundreds of rounds of this particular headstamp, some out of sealed boxes and you see both in the same box. I really do not feel it a purposeful crimp.

Fede would know for certain.

Hi Vlad, Joe is right, it is not a purposely made crimp but a manufacturing flaw typical of the 1940’s production. The Air Force did not use a different type of crimp.
