7.9mm Yugo M75 "Sniper" labels


Phil, it says “to be used before end of 2003”.
Then something on inspecting the ammo and the last is “PPU” (the manufacturer).

Under the list of arms in which this ammo could be used are found the MG34 and MG42, both of which have the word Sharats following. A quick google search suggests a wonder horse of ancient times in Serbia was named Sharats. Is this the source of the (as it appears) nickname of these guns? JG

I have always known the Yugo MG42 as the M53 Sharac.
