Jack, this bullet loading is typical for that Roth hs, I know of several examples. IAA journal #353 refers to this loading as a HV loading for Rigby so this cartridge could be referred to as a “275 Rigby HV”.

From IAA #353:

“.275 Rigby High Velocity - this cartridge is simply a higher velocity loading of the 7x57mm Mauser using 140 grain bullets. Early Rigby catalogs list the muzzle velocity as 3000 ft/sec but later Kynoch catalogs indiacte a more realistic 2750 ft/sec. This cartridge is readily distinguished by its pointed bullet. While often packed in Rigby brand packets no proprietary headstamps have been discovered.”
