8 Roth-Steyr M1907

Quarantine Day 6: I am measuring ridges. Jaja!!
Here two 8mm Roth-Steyr M1907.
There are differences in measurements on the flange (width and height)
This is normal? For what is this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Martin,
Quarantine Day 10,
Reading P.Labbett amazing book on british ammunition.
I have also a dated 1909 8mm Cartridge included in the ECDV, measurements are differents than yours.
In the ECDV, 9 spécimens are shown with a rim diameter between 8,76mm and 9,04mm
and a rim thickness between 0,97mm and 1,17mm

So I Believe Nothing wrong with your cartridges except the machineries which made them.

Perfect Laurent!
Thanks for answering.
