9 mm CF Mori

#1

Mr. Mori is the president of the “Eurocomm munizioni” factory.
He created this cartridge some years ago.It has the same dimensional data of the 9 mm Flobert (shot load) except for its case lenght. It is 44,60 mm long.
This shotshell is CF and primed with a small pistol primer.
Conversion from the 9 mm Flobert to the new cartridge is simple because the gunsmith have only to modify the firing pin, adapting it from RF to CF
Here is compared with a 9 mm Flobert (left).The base-stamps is " 9 C.F.-MORI-BX"

Hi Pivi.

What a neat cartridge. How do I go about getting one for my collection? It’s odd enough (although it’s in that terrible centre fire class of ammunition) and close enought that it will fit in as a curio.

I had not seen this before. Thanks for the photo’s!

Cheers,

They say it is easy to convert 9 Rf carbines to 9 CF carbines.
I think it will cost at least as a new gun.
