Plase could you confirm the identify the following four 7.62 x51 cartridges

  1. Blue tip CNCS bullet, Brass case and primer, green annulus,
    headstamp - F.M.F.L.B - 64- 7 .62
  2. Blue tip CNCS bullet, Brass case and primer, green annulus,
    headstamp - F.M “F.L.B.” - 65 - 7.62
  3. Blue tip GM bullet, Brass case and primer, blue annulus,
    headstamp - F.M “F.L.B.” - 69 - 7.62
  4. Green tip GM bullet Brass case and primer, headstamp 7.62 x 51 FLB 92

I believe 1 and 2 are incendiaries, 3 is a tracer and 4 is a proof. Is this correct?

Thanks
Dave

Dave, You are right but according to my information BLUE tip cartridge should have BLUE annulus.
You can find more information (in spanish) here:
municion.org/colores/colores.htm

Hope this helps.

I hate to disagree with a fellow countryman but number 1 and 2 are also regular tracer rounds, we were never very constant with primer annulus.

Hi Fernando,
I have no problem in been corrected.
We know how “constant” are FM regulations. LOL
Thanks
