Austrian .303

#1

Can someone give me some precision about these .303.

The fourth one is headstamped 33* Do.
They are all magnetic.
Is red tip tracer or A/P tracer?

Philippe

Philippe,
The first four cartridges are from The Netherlands, only the last cartridge is Austrian
From the left your first cartridge would appear to be a ball round…although I can’t understand why it has a green p.a.
The two red-tipped rounds are armour piercing. Obviously the colour code changed at some point as I have found a reference to a 1950’s tracer with a red tip.
The cartridge with the dark green tip is a tracer.

The .303" Browning MG link shown on the third cartridge was made for the Netherlands pre-WW2. The distinctive blood red paint stripe confirms this.
