It looks like Nammo will be marketing the Berger line as loaded ammunition now. Berger was acquired by Nammo Group back in October, 2016 and there is now information on the Berger Bullets website showing loaded ammo data. MidwayUSA is also showing some coming-soon stock of Berger Ammo. The calibers listed are: .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, .300 Winmag, .260 Remington, .338 Lapua, and .300 Norma Magnum.
I find it a curious move since the U.S. market is currently flooded with dozens and dozens of various choices of hunting, target, and match ammo, and the market isn’t exactly hot right now. Also, Nammo runs the risk of alienating large-volume Berger bullet customers such as Federal who load many of their projectiles since Federal might not want to compete using a projectile which is loaded by that bullet’s own parent company (brand name loses some of its exclusivity luster), and which may undercut Federal Premium’s prices.
