CBC CV headstamp

Do anyone know what ‘C…V’ means in this Magtech .38 Spl headstamp?

The cartridge is loaded With a 148 gr lead wad-cutter.

Hi Morten, “C V” stands for Canto Vivo, which in Portuguese means “sharp edge” and is the designation used for a wadcutter bullet (chumbo canto vivo). This special headstamp was adopted to distinguish this case manufactured with a lower knurled cannelure.

Thanks, Fede! It makes sense.
Fiocchi marks such cases ‘WAD CUT’.
