Child Safety warning on boxes

#1

When did they start requiring the child safety warnings on ammo boxes?
Thanks

It was in 1962 or 1964. I think it was 1964. The first boxes had stick on labels until they could get boxes printed with the warning.

Just went and looked it up. It was 1962.

Just looking through some old posts and came across this one. The child warnings were required in 1962. The Remington 7mm Magnum was introduced in 1962 also. This Peters box has no CW labels anywhere, so that should make it one of the first, if not the first, 7mm Remington Magnum boxes.

I bet a 1st run box with the sticker CW labels are rare? Really interesting.
