Chinese made 7.63x25 Mauser or 7.62 Tokarev?

China’s 7.62 Tokarev data is copied 7.63 Mauser, 7.62 Tokarev’s chamber pressure is higher, and the two kinds of bullets can be used in common (sorry, my English is poor, I hope to help you)

The basic difference is in the barrel, not the cartridge. What we in the West call 7.62 Tokarev, uses the larger “Russian” 7.62 mm with a 7.92 mm minium groove diameter.
7.63 Mauser has a “Western” 7.85 mm minimum goove diameter. Both CIP numbers.

Contrary to rifle bullets, the 7.62 mm pistol bullet diameters are identical for all practical purposes (nominally 0.05 mm or 0.002" difference). According to Soviet specifications, their 7.62 mm pistol cartridge is not “hotter” than the 7.63 Mauser.

I agree with you 101%. I am curious if there is any kind of Chinese specification difference. I have not found any reference anywhere noting a difference, yet the internet myth persists.
