Don't Swim With Collectible Ammo!

About a week and a half ago this nice, fresh fired LS case fell out of my pocket while cleaning the pool. I thought you guys might be interested in seeing what a week in chlorinated water can do. All the lacquer coating is gone and the pitting looks like I found it on a WWII battlefield.

I’m interested in what the LS (lacquered steel?) case looked like before its bath. Why not do an experiment? Get two identical, new-condition cases and soak one in the pool for a week. Then show the two.

Jonny - Headstamp of the case?

John Moss

No need to experiment…already done!
John, the headstamp is Romanian RAS 14S 7.62x25.

Wow. Thanks. That’s really something.
