Drawings of the 20mm adapter for the 84mm Carl Gustav?

#1

Does any of you know of a place on the net or have a brochure with a drawing of this adapter? The danish home guard use this backblast-including practise insert, so the ammo* for it should be included on Arma-Dania.

*Some of it looks a bit odd…

The cartridge for it.

Yes EOD, that is the ‘live’ round, the blank has the same blue plastic case.

Thanks to T for the picture.
And thanks to Fede for the patents. I did see them on my searches but only with reduced size drawings.

Does this cartridge really will fit to the chamber of the training device which is shown in the patents?
To my eyes it doesn’t match and there must be something else.

#6

Soren, are there any markings on that cartridge? I am out for the manufacturer (in the lot number).

#7

Hej Søren,
I’ve found this in a swedish manual. Hope it helps.

Hi Fede,
do you have any information about the interior (cutdrawings etc.) of this 20 mm ammunition?
Soren, are there any markings on that cartridge? I am out for the manufacturer (in the lot number).
Torben tells me that on the live round there is no markings, but on the blank it says 66 and below that 7101. No other markings on the blank. 20mm is apparently not used any more, replaced by the 7,62 adapter.

Hej Søren,
what’s the danish designation of this ammunition?

#12

I honestly don’t know, but Torben reads along here and may tell us the designations…?

Soren, thanks a lot!

Thanks to all that helped here; Torben has enough for a new post on Arma-Dania and I will have some good material to build a new infantry carried grenade launcher line with.

A warmed-up old soup with new ingredients … from swedish manuals.

Wow! Thx Defender. More material for the coming Anti-armour pages on A-D.
