Factory wadcutter or RN with the front cut off as a home made wadcutter?
No obvious cut marks but it doesnt look quite like a neat factory finish either.

I do not believe that is a factory round. It Looks too crude to be made by Eley and I have never seen a wadcutter in that caliber ( not that it means much). Bill

No, my instinct is very much a reload. I think I can make out the vestage of a resizing ring about 2mm up from the rim. There was a time in Britain around the 60-70s when a lot of fairly crude homeloading took place with home made reloading tools, moulds and other equipment before the likes off Lee, RCBS etc started to be imported as the supply of otherwise endless military surplus started to dry up
