French 20x110 Hispano "CE 4 39 F"

This is a rarity for me, a pre WWII Hispano round from France. I usually see US ones. What is “F”? Also, is the projectile correct? It says: “MMD 34 5/41” on it. It is on the very right, I’ll place a better image ASAP.

Vlad, the projectile does not belong to the case (which is fired as you see).
The “F” is the brass manufacturer.
The area around the primer got cleaned with acid, likely to remove bleeding primer composition residue.
The projectile is British I think, the experts may tell more.

As you say a nice early French case. Easier to find in Europe than in the US (unlike your 37mm dummy).
