German 7,92x57 with 2 sets nonuniform opposing lines on head

Just a posting for information purposes only. A few lots of German 7,92 were neck annealed after manufacture to be approved by the HWA, as they were being loaded at later year of manufacture. I understand the regulations on neck annealing had changed and to be used after annealing they needed to be identified by striking two sets of radial opposing lines on the head. I was told this many years back and just had a friend reconfirm such the other day. Just adding searchable information for those wondering. Not looking for conformation. If however someone feels differently I would like to here.

Edit: Adjusted the title.
