I’ve notived that there are variety of raised marks on the shoulder of some plastic cartridges made by Germany (hs DAG 7.62x51) - see photo below. In a box of 50 I found 8 variations
Where there are two sets of marks, they are at 180 degrees to each other. However, a quick look at some other similar cartridges showed marks separated by 90 and 120 degrees. The raised marks look intentional. Are they an equivalent to the dots used in the SCAMP system to identify which molding press was used to form a particular case body?
