German prewar rifle round

Hi there,

I am a collector with a small but growing WW2 German ammunition collection.
Over the years with various purchases I have amassed some ammunition which although fairly collectable, doesn’t really fit my area.
Nothing too outrageous I am sure - but I would like to know more about it.

These came with a WW2 lot, they are DWM (I’d hoped they were for an 1871 Mauser), but beyond that I don’t really know what they are, I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

Beside am 8mmX57mm round.

Thank you!!!

I collect military cartridges, but yours is easy to identify according to the DWM number on the headstamp. You have some 10.75x68 rounds. Definitely civilian, commercial ammunition.

Thank you - I appreciate that info.
