Help identify this LARGE 19th century cartridge

#1

This primered cartridge was recently found in an attic among some 1800’s items, but I’ve been totally unable to find any info that might help identify it. Can anybody help? Here are the dimensions (inches);
There are no markings anywhere.

Case dia base: .642
Case dia crimp: .625
Rim dia: .736
bullet dia: .597
Overall length: 2.136

64cal

Thanks in advance for your help!

Jim,

Looks like a .58 Berdan for use in .58 muskets converted to breech loaders using the Berdan conversion process.
