Help identifying a cartridge please

Hi
I hope someone can help me identify this cartridge.
I have found that IVI is the manufacturer. And 60 maybe the year? Just can not find anymore information. Would be grateful if someone does have knowledge on this one. Thanks

IVI might be Industries Valcartier Inc., Valcartier, Quebec, Canada.

I think the date is 2009, not 1960.

Sam, because of the date (2009), “IVI” no longer represents Valcartier but the manufacturer’s symbol of General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems - Canada, Inc.

Hello there brown2412, welcome to this Forum. It seems you have a 12,7 x 99 case. Also known as the .50 BMG. It’s very common but to me, situation of finding a case, a bullet, a cartridge, even very common or ordinary is what gives the pleasure.
