How to White Headstamp

#1

I have seen pictures of many cartridges on this forum with what appears to be white paint or dye in the numerals & letters of a headstamp.

I would love to learn how to do this, is their anyone out there that will share the technique on how to do this.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I work as a teacher, and I simply use white wax crayons from work… Very easy to apply - I push it over what I want to apply it to - then rub away the remaining I don’t want with a slightly damp towel.

Morton,

Here are some other suggestions discussed recently here on the Forum: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16816

Thanks Ole & Brian, the crayon is surprisingly good & so is just a simple old stick of white chalk.
As mentioned in the previous discussions on the forum, WW2 German lacquered cases are a little more difficult but worth the effort.

thanks Again
