Acquired a 22 copper case blank, .87" long, rose crimp with M hs. reference says this is for a Hungarian MG trainer. Does anyone know what vintage this is and have a pic of the trainer?
Orange, The .22 plain M Hungrian headstamp is from Vadasztolenty-Guytacs Es Femarugyar R.T. In Budapest. 1930’s to WW-2. Cases were made in both copper and steel. My firearms patent books do not list a Hungarian machine gun or adapter firing a blank 22 RF. But that does not mean there was not one.
These blanks came with a short piece of belt.
