I would like to find out When the first two headstamps were made?
And from the last one also by or for who?

As a starting point, I have in my notes that:

Jules Joseph Chaudun was in business in Montmarte from 1841. He mainly made pinfire cartridges and shotshells.

Robert Chaudun formed a partnership with DERIVIERE operating from c1870-1872.

They evidently did produce rifle ammunition but concentrated mainly on shotshells and Revolver cartridges.

Many thanks,
So when I understand right, these two shells were made by two different Chaudun!
This partnership, did it last only two years??

Rene, this may not have been as clear as I thought. My understanding is that:

Robert Chaudun is likely to be a relative (brother or son) of Jules Joseph Chaudun. = same business.

The Chaudun & Deriviere partnership was estalished later around 1870-1872
