Interesting pinfire!

#1

Hi All.

Just wanted to show this.
Any info is welcome.

regards rené

#2

It certainly appears to be a heavy duty reloadable cartridge, utilizing a standard percussion cap. Cool!

#3

there was a fantastic article by M. Leveau in the IAA about these not too long ago. Very uncommon item with, or without a headstamp .

#4

A very cute item, even to someone like me who knows nothing about pinfire cartridges. Thanks!

Lew

Rene,

Very nice, not seen a stamped case one before, and yes they are reloadable pinfire.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Regards,
Mike.

#7

Neat!

rené, now you need to find me one of these ones to go with my patent!

#8

René, very nice, congratulations! It looks very similar to Somon’s patent of 1859 but I’m not sure if it a variation of the same or maybe something by other maker. Maybe you can send pictures to A. Leveau and ask for his opinion.

Regards,

Fede
