7.62x51mm AP, steel core brass enclosed projectile with a lead bottom, black tip, headstamp - something that looks like a sideway K/ maybe a pie symbol/ 74 ?
Never seen one with the lead at the back. Does it help with deeper penetration? Like a hammer hitting a nail. Usually you see the lead in the front.
sideway K - Actually the Hebrew letter Tzadik, which stands for “Military”.
maybe a pie symbol - the Hebrew letter Tof, first letter of Ta’asiyah, or “Industry”.
This AP bullet design is characteristic of those made by FN.
The T29 bullet, loaded as the T93E2, has a similar design. A hard core with lead both front and back. This was later adopted as the M61.
