Italian 6.5mm Carcano Steel case in 1953?

While I find it kind of hard to believe that Italy was still producing 6.5mm Carcano ammo in 1953. Obviously this cartridge confirms that they were. But why would they be producing STEEL CASED ammo at this time? Here is a picture of the box the cartridges are in also. I don’t read Italian so I don’t know if this is the original box or some type of repack. Just looking for answers! Thanks.

Andwer all ready given;
BOSSOLI ACCIAIO ,Steel Cases"

Pretty late, as SMI made steelcases under German influence 1942, then control 44, 45.
So the Technology was there in the 50s, when Italy returned to using 6,5 ammo ( as well as .303, and .30 cal).
