Joseph Quinlan and John Scanlon

Those two designers received most part of US patents related to caseless ammunition. Unfortunately most of patents assigned to US Government so that is not clear where they worked during 60-70th. Possibly someone could say where they are worked during this period? Unfortunately available books say only about what they did but not where and in which company.

Thank you.

John J. Scanlon worked for Remington. No idea on Quinlan.

Thank you! I’ve sited his name only in one patent (related to caseless ammo) assigned to Remingthon. Just was not sure did he always worked for this company in that time.

But before Remingthon it seems he worked for Springfield Arsenal because of his patent related to converting M-14 to caseless rifle assigned to Springfield Arsenal.
