Luftdicht Patronenkast label

I have standard Lufticht patronenkast for 1500 cartridges.

But the label inside it’s cover is quite unusual for me.
I mean ink stamp in the left lower corner of the label, looks like “NTM C” (C -badly stamped) or “NRM G”.

What does it mean?

Dear treshkin,

the stamped info in the lower left corner is N f MG.
I think (just a guess) it stands for nur fur Machine Gewehr. (translated; only for machine guns)
This makes sense because the info “Fur gewehr” is also crossed out…
(fur gewehr = for rifle(s))
hope this helps.

Joost

Thats correct- for rifles was crossed out and overstamped with N f MG -
for machine guns only.
Its common to find modified labels even on single boxes.

Thank you!

It was so easy and I even don’t hit upon this idea

Really, experience - is a main in collecting

Interesting lable. Can you make out the loaders lot number just below the line that says 1500 Patronen S.m.E? Should be something like hlc ?? L. 41. I would like to know what it is for my records if you can read it. Thanks.
