Maryland Research Co

Does anyone have information and pictures of boxes and cartridges loaded by Maryland Research Company? I have an ad dated 1958 offering .30-06 cartridges loaded with their new “Hydraulic Bullet”.

All I find for a 30-06 “hydraulic bullet” is a mention from the May 23rd, 1940 Atlantic News Telegraph about a Harold S. Hockett of Grinnell Metal Plating submitting a design to the Army. Unrelated I assume, but it gives an interesting description of how the design supposedly worked:

Matt, thanks, interesting article. I couldn’t find out if there is a relation between these designs.

Mr. Hockett’s hydraulic bullet idea makes no sense to me. Am I missing something obvious? The Army apparently agreed with my assessment.
