Here is a box of 11 mm Mauser M. 71/84 cartridges handwritted “May 1916 - Taken from The Four Courts, Dublin, - after the Rebels surrendered by J.C.W.M.”. I think that this is likely the same DWM ammunition bought from Benny Spiro and smuggled in 1914 (Howth and Larne gun-runnings).
There is also a Winchester .25-20 W.C.F with exactly the same inscription.
